In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I honestly loved it, it was amazing!! I want to give a huge shoutout to our server Chayo, he was absolutely amazing and probably the best server I've ever had anywhere. Thanks Chayo for making my day every time I come!! And the "Watermelon Girl" says hi and thanks for being so great!!!!

The service was GREAT for the most part, never did get a water refil or offered one, but seriously might have been because we were all super chatty. The Grizz plate was GREAT! Couldn't eat the country potato's. Not there fault, just didn't care for them. Everything else was epic, and I can't wait to go back.

Me an my husband went in the today an the food was amazing as well as the lovely lady I believe her name was Becky first time there an as long as she is there I will keep coming back 😊
