In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedI highly recommend Black Bear! We haven’t eaten here in a long time and wow was it amazing. The food was perfectly cooked, and quick! Our server Kai was incredible. He was extremely helpful, and had tons of personality with a lot of humor! Highly recommend the Black Bear Diner in American Fork.

We visited the Black Bear Diner in Oklahoma City and loved it. The staff was a amazing, the food was awesome. So delicious Best breakfast I've ever had (well at least up there with my Grandma's) I wish you had a restaurant here in Virginia, like Charlottesville or Lynchburg near us. We have family in Oklahoma city so I know we will be visiting your restaurant again. 😊🍴

This place has delicious food. It was a great workplace for me while I was pregnant. I love the manager Tammy. Very sweet workers here and they deserve some extra tips ;)

This morning I went into black bear and I had my heart set on the cinnamon roll French toast. Sadly upon arrival I discovered that they were out of the cinnamon roll bread they use to make the French toast. Thankfully my AMAZING waitress, Ebony, was able to make me an OFF THE MENU item, a cinnamon roll waffle. It was wonderful and exactly what I was craving! Thank you so much Ebony for coming up with such an amazing dish. Hopefully it’s on the menu soon!! 😃
