In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. RecommendedAfter a terrible breakfast (wouldn't even call it that ) at norms in the valley, we were still hungry and we know black bear has the best pies this west of the Mississippi, burgers are hot, juicy and full of flavor ! Christian knocked it out of the park ! Great waiter and took care of us, our morning went from bad to best because of him and we will be returning because of his customer service and hospitality! Thank you for making my birthday week special !

First time in California and I came here twice! Momma bear was the best she took care of us and made it feel like I’ve know her forever! Must have breakfast here! French toast is 🔥🔥 great service and great food!

Found this gem when I was traveling to Little Rock. Black Bear in North Little Rock has the most amazing breakfast. My Server Ernest is a phenomenal employee with a very pleasant personality. I will be back for sure.

Black Bear Diner has a very welcoming atmosphere and a staff that consistantly goes the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction. The food is always excellent and well portioned with a variety that will satisfy even the pickiest of diners.

The food and service is very good there, I've been there only twice and a great experience both times, I had a 25% of discount, and it had expired by a couple days I figured it would be good for 30 days but it was only good for 20 days and they let me use it, so I was very happy, and I absolutely love their hot cornbread muffins, I recommend you eat there.
