In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. My breakfast was delicious. The server Earnest was so friendly and knows how to make you feel special while you are dining inside. He’s on point.

Today was my first visit to this restaurant and I am definitely coming back! Service was excellent, polite, very kind, and made you feel at home. The portions of the food are definitely generous and delicious. Can't forget to mention the biscuits are the size of your hand!

I love the black bear diner the food was great an the service was wonderful I really enjoyed my time there. Ebony the waitress was great, good customer service an she made sure we were good the food was on time an they give you a good proportion of food I will be back thanks ms Ebony.
