In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I wanted to give a shout out to Black Bear Diner in Layton. We ordered take out from them recently -- had it delivered -- and when it arrived, there were some items missing. I called the restaurant and they said they'd have someone deliver the rest of the food. They did so in a timely manner, and they included a free dessert to compensate us for our trouble. I was really impressed. That was true customer service and I so appreciated it! The food was delicious as well. So I highly recommend them.
