The management staff, nurses, CNA's and maintenance team all work together to duplicate a "home environment" where the residents receive the care and attention they deserve. They also strive to make sure the family members feel welcome at all times. Spend a little time at the Cottages of Fox Lake and feel the love!
This is a very caring community for anyone's loved one. A cheerful atmosphere.
I lived at the community 2 1/2 years. I love the renovations and new management/owners. My needs are met with a smile. I have a great home at The Cottages of Fox Lake.
My mom has been there several months now. Communication is good with the staff She seems happy there. We like that it has smaller buildings and all on 1 floor. She likes the bus trips they’ve gone on for shopping, lunch and day trips. They have outdoor activities including gardening, games, bbq. There is a small library, games, and puzzles available to residents. A hair dresser comes in weekly and a doctor comes in to see residents. We would recommend it.
My wife's mother has been here for a few months and is cared for very well. I only wish she would engage more with activities or interaction with others, but this is no fault of the facility.
The cottages have been beautifully renovated and the apartments were thoughtfully redone. Big bathrooms with handicap vanity, wide doorways, and a very low lip on the shower. I especially liked how the apartment had either a desk or Kitchenette in the room itself, much closer to where furniture or a bed would be. Paradise was a good option for us when we were looking for my mother. We decided against it because they didn't have as many outings as we were looking for. It was also more cost than other communities.
I toured the Paradise Park Assisted Living and Memory Care. It was very nice. I can't rate the care services or activities because I did not experience it because I only toured this property. Overall, It was a nice and clean facility. My tour went pretty good. Nice place.
They are a very good service. Very helpful and cooperative. My loved one is very happy. This facility is very clean and nicely managed . Health Care is great. Food is good. I would definitely recommend the Paradise Park Assisted Living and Memory Care. I rate this Facility 5 stars across the board. I only have positive things to say about this place. I am very pleased with all of the areas and Glad I chose this property.
