We are having some issues with the housekeeping in my moms room - that is the only complaint. The people have all been great. I am happy with the staff to residents ratio. It is a darling place and the cost is in line with our budget. It is the best place for my mom and she is thrilled with all of the staff. She loves the food as well, I have also talked to other residents as well and they seem to like it too. We love the community. They were able to take care of my loved one and family. The staff were able to accommodate, and were attentive to our loved one. The communication with the community was wonderful! We were always able to get ahold of staff to answer our questions or concerns about our loved one. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The younger family members were able to visit their loved one, as well. The community made sure the entire family felt welcomed.

I would be willing to move into this community. It is very pretty in the spring. I wish that my loved would have been able to enjoy it longer. The staff were very friendly and a lot of them were from an agency but most of them were very friendly and very good at there job there were just a few as always that were not as good as the other workers that were there. This was a very pretty place but unfortunately we were there in the late winter and did not get to see it in the spring.

Think twice about how much care they need and if they are getting adequate hydration.

I would highly recommend this community for your loved one. They have activities like sing a longs bingo, and other things to keep the residents busy in the community. My loved one is very happy there.

It is a wonderful community. I think your loved one would be well taken care of here. The staff were okay about calling back with answers to my questions or concerns.

We chose The Cottages of Fox Lake because they had a special unit for Alzheimers which is what we needed. The room sizes here are average compared to others we saw. There have been no complaints about the food, I would say it is above average. It is a very convenient because we are close and the grounds are very well kept. I would recommend to others.

We are so happy and pleased that our mom is at The Cottages of Fox Lake. They are taking such good care of her. She is in memory care and needs a great deal of kind, loving, patient help and she gets it all from everyone at the cottages. We rest easy in a way we never thought possible.
