We chose The Cottages of Fox Lake because the living community was smaller and it felt more homey which appealed to my mother in law more than others that we saw. The room sizes here are very good. She likes the food here a lot, I have eaten at the facility once and it was good, there is a chef on site that prepares the meals. The best part about the community so far has been the family like vibe to it. The people here are also very friendly. I would recommend.

From the moment I visited I knew I found home. Friendship with people my age but also the staff. Bingo, crafts, outings, or sitting on the porch. There is always something happening.

I have been other places and so far this is the best! Kind people to help me. Friendly people around me. Love my coffee and snacks. Love to be outside in my rocker.

I placed my aunt into the care of the Cottages of Fox Lake and I could not be happier. The staff here is wonderful! They welcome new residents and get the people to enjoy all the amenities that they have to offer. My aunt has been very happy living here which has allowed me great peace of mind.

This is a marvelous place for people in need of individualized and personal care. There are only 6 residents per each staff member. All employees from top management through kitchen staff are focused entirely on meeting the needs and desires of the residents. They truly want their residents to be as happy as possible. The Cottages have small seperate buildings for different levels of care, which provides a more intimate atmosphere than many institutions.

The staff is caring staff and helpful. Good friends. Like the cottages and the grounds. I like my private apartment.

I have peace of mind knowing the dedication of staff support all of my mothers needs and do a better job than could. She is happy and has friends. The food and activities are wonderful. I could have picked a different community but I wouldn't have the heart or feel like home.
