I think finding the right skilled nursing facility is always hard, but Cottonwood hands down has been such a delight to be in. The patients are nice and from what I see, are well taken care of. The facility has an amazing team and will hold your hand through the whole process from admission to the facility until discharge back home. They help with placement and provide resources to make an informed decision. They have a successful rehab team and I have seen their positive outcomes! My experience at Cottonwood has been nothing short of outstanding!!! From the moment I was admitted I was greeted with warmth and compassion, setting the tone for the exceptional care that followed!!! Our mom came to Cottonwood Canyon after spending 2 weeks at Grossmont Hospital. She walked into the ER at Grossmont and literally was unable to walk, stand or even feed herself 2 weeks later. Even with the nursing shortage, we found the nursing staff at Cottonwood to be friendly, attentive and resolved any issues we had in a timely manner. My son has been at Cottonwood for 9 months. They have shown great compassion. They go above and beyond to answer our questions and concerns. I would like to give a special shout out to some amazing nurses Robert, Rafi, Luis, Yani, Sharyqueen, Tess, Irma, Kelli, Cece and Paloma. I'd also like to recognize his physical therapy team.
