Dependable - Always If you've eaten at one, you've eaten at all of them. They look the same, and the food is the same - and very good for a good price. We like this chain and frequent it often.
Great price A lot of comfy food for a little price. Servers are good also. Gift store has alot of unique items. Old time artifacts on the wall were cool to look at.
restaurant excellent value The restaurant was walking distance to la Quinta hotel prices reasonable, portions nicely done, no skimping, and we ate there 3 times and 3 waitresses were outstanding , friendly helpfull, in choosing food selection, attentive in bringing cofee and checking up on our needs plus gift shop, very nostalgic, not overpriced we found a Andy Griffith DVD reasonably priced lovely...
When is it NOT GOOD We keep a map handy of Cracker Barrel locations and always stop for a super breakfast. And the lunches are terrific too! Have yet to try a dinner but I am sure it is fantastic. But is it the food or the overwhelming gift shop that brings me back? I think BOTH!! If you have never stopped - do it!
Crackers Barrel left me hungry They used to be so good now just a shadow of their once majestic self. the biscuits were hard and my side of hash brown casserole was like four bites.

Food is Home like We like the Cracker Barrel because there food is always good tasting and home like. This visit to Cracker Barrel was no different than what we had in Syracuse, NY. Great food everytime.
breakfast the food was priced well. the servers were friendly and attentive. The portions were appropriate. This gift shop was fun and nice to poke around in. I will absolutely be dining at this establishment again.
