Jim is incredible - a true professional. If you have rats and want them removed for good, Jim is the person to do it. He was upfront about the cost and the expectations; everything transpired as he outlined and the problem has been taken care of. Jim was also always on time and responsive to calls and emails. I've used other services in the past and it is now clear why the problem recurred. I am confident that rats will not be nesting under my house for the next several years. Thanks Jim.
The swallow nest underneath my home's eave came back last year but I wasn't able to remove it due to the birds living there during summer. After the birds left, I called Steve at Critter Control to help remove the nest and clean-up the droppings. Steve was swamped but promised to come out and service my house approximately 2 weeks later. Jim did a terrific job ridding the house of several wood rats. We thought we heard one in a crawlspace. He eventually trapped a bunch -- he showed them to us. Jim's the real deal. He loves his work. He always arrived early, told us exactly what he was doing, and kept his word. Apart from trapping the rats, he figured out how they got into our crawlspace and sealed up the access points. After our dog was skunked for the 4th time, it was time to lay down the gauntlet. Critter Control came out, staked out our backyard and set up two traps. Evidently we were running some sort of skunk sanctuary, because we caught five over the course of two weeks! Steve was great, retrieving the trapped skunks within hours of our calls, and rebating the traps when we accidentally caught a neighborhood cat (sorry, kitty!). They were prompt, courteous and professional and I would highly recommend them!
We had rats in our attic which were driving me crazy - I'd wake up in the night and hear them moving around. We tried setting our own traps and caught a few, but despite our efforts we couldn't figure out where they were coming in and we just couldn't get rid of them. Jim came out and over the course of 4 visits set traps, caught several rats, sealed up their entrances, and came out to do a final check. Jim, the Critter Control local specialist, just left and I think we have seen the last of him. Although we enjoyed getting to know him and learned a lot about rat control, it looks like he has gotten rid of the last of the rats and sealed everything off. This is the second rodent control company that we employed. The first one failed. Jim readily took the challenge and succeeded. We will miss Jim but we wont't miss the rats!
These guys are legit and solved our issues while delivering impeccable customer service. Jim came out and did a thorough inspection (with photographs to show us), provided a detailed estimate on the spot, and set traps.
