Had surgery 4-1/2 months ago, and I went from continuous pain to no pain. The doctor and staff are amazing and truly appreciated that they hear me and understand the amount of pain I was in.

Personal and informative. He did a left shoulder replacement on me 1 year ago and it works great. I would do it again! My shoulder works better than it did and the pain is gone! Great surgeon and doctor!

I had frozen shoulder and had tried PT and injections to help with no relief. My doctor suggested surgery to release it and while I was originally worried about the surgery I’m now so grateful I did it. He was an amazing doctor that gave me my shoulder strength and mobility back. He was great at communicating what was going to happen and the healing process that would follow. It’s been a touch over 4 months since the surgery and my shoulder is good as new! Would definitely recommend seeing him if you’re in need as he really ... read more

My 15 year old son was injured in a wrestling match- dislocated elbow and torn ligaments. He was in extreme pain both physically and mentally knowing his season was over before it started. Dr. Salazar met with him, reassured him that he’d be back and stronger and fit him into his schedule for that same week-no time waisted. The surgery included replacing the torn ligament and repairing the others. It was a few hours long and very successful. Dr. Salazar made sure to explain multiple times what he was planning to do, and afte... read more

My reverse right shoulder replacement was a success due to Dr. Salazar's amazing attention to detail. The morning of my surgery, he visited me in pre-op as all my other surgeons have done. This was different, however, because Dr. Salazar spent almost 10 minutes discussing his plan, the implant, and the degree at which the implant would be implanted. My surgery was uneventful. He gave my wife a full report afterwards. This surgery was a piece of cake compared to my left rotator cuff surgery in 2009. I have a low pain threshol... read more

Reverse shoulder replacement...I am an 80 year old patient of Dr Salazar and had a reverse shoulder replacement on March 20, 2026. I did not know what to expect as I also have heart issues. The surgical process went very well and my recovery is progressing with great satisfaction. I had home therapy for three weeks and continue on a home regimen doing exercises daily. I am now seven weeks after the procedure. I had a hip replacement six months ago and was expecting recovery from the shoulder to be much worse. Quite the contr... read more

Dr. Salazar performed a right reverse total shoulder arthroplasty 7 weeks ago and both surgery and the post-op went exactly as he said it would. With the nerve block and a pain management plan that started on the day of surgery, there were no significant issues and after tapering the dosage starting at 2 weeks, I was back to just acetominophen at 3 weeks. Even with practicing with my left hand for weeks in advance of the surgery, loss of my dominant hand/arm was definitely challenging. With a PT guided home exercise program ... read more
