We couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding care our 13-year-old son received from Dr. Salazar after sustaining a fractured elbow during his final baseball game of the season. I was very pleased with my experience at Loyola under the care of Dr. Salazar and his team before, during, and after my shoulder surgery. Every aspect of treatment, was enhanced by concern, care, and communication laced with good humor and connection. At all times I felt I was in capable hands and working with a competent medical team that really cared about my surgery, recuperation, and outcomes. I cannot thank Dr. Salazar and his team enough for providing a positive experience for me as a patient in every way.
My experience with Doctor Salazar goes much further than what he did for me. He has handled shoulder surgeries on both my daughter and son for sports related injury repair. I can't recommend him enough. Highly professional and knowledgeable. He spells everything that you can expect clearly and thoroughly. Truly top notch. AND an all around nice person!
Dr Salazar is a wonderful physician. He is very educated, respectful and explains in detail every procedure and what the patient will be experiencing. I would recommend him to everyone I know. I had heard so many horror stories of this rotator cuff surgery and yet experienced nothing like that. Dr. Salazar is very compassionate and is very attentive to his patients. Dr. Salazar is amazing and one of the best surgeons that I've had. His bedside manner is very professional and courteous. He's very thorough and does an excellent job. I am due for another surgery, this time on the opposite shoulder and I completely trust him. I choose him above the other doctors.
