Dr. Salazar is very knowledgeable and explains things in a way that I can easily understand. He is kind and listens well. He is enthusiastic about the surgery he performs and the research he is doing. I would recommend him to anyone who needs treatment for their shoulder condition.
Incredible. He operated on my left shoulder rotator cuff. I had a previous surgery on my right shoulder rotator cuff cuff and it didn’t compare to the amazing results I had with Dr. Salazar. My recovery was very smooth as well. Within 4 months I was able to sleep on my shoulder without pain. I still can’t believe the incredible results.
He displayed a positive, informative consult, that was understandable and comforting to me.
I just had my 6 month post-op visit for a total reverse rotator cup surgery. Dr. Salazar explained to me everything that was on my xrays and checked my range of motion. He is very pleasant to talk to. I first met him when my son had a shoulder repair surgery. We had a nice conversation about my his procedure and what to expect. I was so impressed that when I needed to see someone for my issue, I knew He would be the doctor I would go to. If the rating went up to 10, he would definitely get that 10.
Had reverse shoulder surgery and six months later was able to sleep on it. Have little to no pain. Glad I had the surgery.

It was my 1-year follow-up of of my reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Viewing the current X-Ray results together, Dr. Salazar clearly pointed out and explained the excellent progress that was made. He commented that after 1 year, I am exactly where I am suppose to be and expects even further growth in the future. He spent time thoroughly answering all my questions. I needed 2 total shoulder replacements and Dr.Salazar did the right total shoulder replacement and I am 6 months out and my shoulder feels like it did 20 years ago, and 1 month after the surgery I would say don't do it but now I'm ready to schedule the left total shoulder replacement. Dr.Salazar put me at ease and was right about how the new shoulder joint would relieve the joint pain I've been dealing with for years. Dr.Salazar is an outstanding surgeon in my opinion.
