After years of shoulder pain Dr. Salazar was an amazing person to help me move forward with life. When my shoulder got to be so bad as to where I was losing sleep over it I knew I had to do something. Dr. Salazar was always a great person and cared and gave options on treatment. Total reverse shoulder replacement 4 months ago - actually Dr Salazar did my other shoulder as well 2 years ago. First one perfect. More recent one just needs more time to get the arm behind my back. Lucky me to have Dr Salazar. Thank you Doc.
Dr Salazar from day one has always been diligent with me about my options. And what he suggested was a reverse shoulder replacement for me. We went through all the alternatives. And my arm has not moved like this in 5 years. I think he's an awesome doctor. And his care team.As well.

I tripped, fell, dislocated and severely fractured my proximal humerus. I'm an RN. My reaction was complete denial. This can't happen to me. I saw 2 orthopedic surgeons before seeing Dr. Salazar. He patiently listened to my concerns and answered my MANY questions for an hour. He was confident that he could get my shoulder functioning again. I agreed to surgery the next day.
