Closing did not happen in May as promised and paperwork was not ready for closing appointment. Settlement costs changed dramatically from the estimate.

My issue is with the incredible disconnect with the support people and Mutual.I provided immediate answers. Even though Daniel blamed the failure on this, both homeowners credit was locked,within minutes both mine and Joseph Stanfields were unlocked. Daniel was aware and confirmed the refill was both owners. Still the loan in only in my name!!! Plus I had to remind them to confirm my homeowner's insurance a month afterwards!!! Rediculas and they claimed it was fixable without going through it ag

I just felt there was a lack of communication throughout the process. I also felt my emails were just sent to others to address. I wish someone would of just picked up the phone to explain things in a simplified manner. Also, I got mixed messages throughout the entire process.

I have done three mortgages with Daniel at the various financial institutions he's worked for over the years, and can truly say, NEVER AGAIN. What took Mutual of Omaha 200 days to fail at (a jumbo loan, cash out, refinance) last year, took my credit union just 41 to successfully complete - amidst a pandemic. "Unpleasant" does not begin to describe my - entire. last. year. - working with Mutual of Omaha and Daniel Beyer.

It wasn’t Daniel, he was pretty good through the process. However, Rebecca was the most uncommunicative and difficult person to work with. This process was the most unprofessional/terrible customer service process and not what I expected since I had a friend that was going through this at the same time with another company (quicken loans) and I would recommend their process over this one. Deborah Wolfe was amazing and the best person I worked with during this time.
