Communication! I wanted to be informed of any and all ways to reduce the my monthly mortgage payment. I was promised such information and then it was never provided. For over a month, I received very little information and few updates, although I continued to ask. Then, the final estimate was provided with an increased monthly payment. Very my priorities ever considered?

I requested Daniel from begining that Taxes & Haz Ins (Escrow) be added to my monthly payment. It was not. Mentioned it during our conversations & I added info in email exchange. Now I come out my pocket $656.95 (Mar10) for taxes & $447.52 (Mar16) for Ins. I am aware it's my responsibility. If it were in loan process, it would be deducted from Cash Out or processed into loan. He didn't reply to email or answers timely. Takes time to add Escrow. Not happy since signing. Not sure of recommending.

Underwriting is always a problem but I found myself consistently asking for updates. Duplicate requests for information, and continual delays caused this process to exceed 50 days to close.

Complete lack of communication and misinformation communicated by loan officer. I asked about my wife being on the paperwork and the loan officer was completely wrong about the situation. The timing was extremely slow and I had to reach out to the team many times before the processing even began. I went with Mutual of Omaha for the rate, but cannot say how poor of an experience I had. I would tell anyone looking for a mortgage to look elsewhere and to even pay a higher rate for better service.

Response emails were very short, unprofessional and unclear. I had to ask several times to explain things in more depth. At closing, a fee more than what the title company provided was charged by the lender and it was never covered or mentioned by the loan officer. This left me very frustrated as I expressed several times that I did not want any surprises at closing and that happened anyway.

Provide updates as closing date came and went. Respond to inquiries timely since you didn’t update us before the rate expiring. Nothing moved until we went to management. Worst service that was blamed on the pandemic. I don’t care that you all are working from home. I’m an RN and never got the chance to work at home and I found your excuses to be hollow.

The process for my refinance from start to finish took almost 5 months which is ridiculous. Even during a pandemic, I know for a fact other company are moving quicker. However, on the back end, Daniel did a great job of understanding my frustration and trying to make me whole with a lender credit which I very much appreciated.
