What happened to this place, where it has gone so far downhill? Two years ago this was one of my favorites. I doubt I'll go back now. It is always under-staffed. Long wait times on everything, and delivery drivers load them up with giant orders. They need to hire more kitchen workers. But worst of all, the food quality has severely decreased. Gross. Rub (powdered spices) smeared all over cooked chicken, but not cooked on chicken. Made it VERY messy, and tasted disgusting. Why would anyone serve chicken like that?

I am consistently given the wrong food by this location. Today I ordered a 10 pc nugget and was given one tender. Disappointing! In the past they have given me cheese fries with no cheese. I'm sick of ordering food and not being given it. They need to pay more attention to what's being ordered. Beside that, my chicken was rubbery. Could not chew it in some areas. It was disgusting. I'm done coming to Dave's. This has been a frustrating restaurant to eat at.

Currently waiting of 30 mins for one chicken sandwich. This place has a line out the door and no food coming out. There is like two people working. WTF?

Recently visit for new vegan sandwich which was ok 1st time but went back again and completely different experience! I was disgusted they gave me cauliflower nuggets instead of the whole cauliflower which turned out to be just fried pieces of batter ewwwww!!!! There we no vegetable in that at all! You can smash it in your fingers and will be left with greasy fried batter! I wanted my money back but they were closed once I got home! $20 I need refunded! So the family and I came from Santa Clarita to do some stuff on Melrose and my 14 year old son and I have wanted to try Dave's for a while now and there was one just 5 minutes away from where we were. BIG mistake! My son and I ordered the 2 tenders combo and my wife the sliders. The food actually tasted good, but about 4 hours later, when we got home, I started feeling ill. First of all, the tables are so filthy and trash all over. Cold fries and very little kale slaw in the burger. I was so surprised how busy they are for this poor service quality.

I enjoyed the burgers, but this place is incredibly dirty - there's trash inside, in the restroom, and the tables are left unclean. I wonder if it's safe to eat here, but we never know. It's good only for delivery; I wouldn't recommend going there for lunch.
