I lived in LA in ktown when Dave's hot chicken first started getting big and saw them go to a brick and mortar with huge lines out the door whenever I'd drive by. So I was surprised and excited to see them open up out here! Overall the taste and experience was awesome and it's still my favorite hot chicken. I was happy to see this place finally open and to give it a try! It had been under construction for a while and passing by it always made my mouth water lol. ATMOSPHERE: This place has a really chill and trendy vibe. Good amount of indoor seating, and they have some outdoor seating. The place felt really clean and well-maintained which was nice! We stopped by Dave's for dinner tonight and had a great first experience! My fiancé & I shared the Dave's #2 (two sliders with fries) and added on both an extra tender and a side of mac & cheese. We got the chicken at the "hot" level, which I thought had just the right amount of spice. I also really appreciated how the chicken was very crispy without being greasy. Bought family box & gave tip to receive BAD SERVICE Not only did I have wait over 35 mins but they did the wrong flavors & put cold slaw when gave us the food. Did not want refund & didn't even tell us they couldn't make modification to sandwich before ordering

Worst service I've ever received from any restaurant in my life. The slowest and most disorganized service. Me and 1 other person in the entire restaurant and they still have an extremely difficult time. Don't recommend if you value your time and want good food

The food luckily taste good but 2 sliders n fries with cheese for $16.50 is way over priced for 2 chicken strips n bread ...plus the store is dirty and boring def..won't be back I can get a chicken sandwich anywhere

This was my first time here. The chicken was poorly prepared; the breading kept sliding off. I also ordered the mac and cheese, which tasted like cardboard. The service was poor as well. I wish I could have enjoyed my meal before going back home.

If you're coming on a Friday night, be prepared to wait over 40 minutes for your food! We placed an order online at 9:48 pm to pick up with an estimated pick up time of 10:08 pm. We arrived on time and were told "we're backed up. It'll be a while." We proceeded to wait, checking in with the staff again after 15 minutes and were told "it's coming up soon."
