TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time we tried it was in LA and was really excited that they were opening some in Houston.
We went during their grand opening and got A LOT of food. It was good and definitely hot! Get yourself a milkshake the combat the heat! Staff was efficient and friendly. Ample parking.
Everyone was super nice is the establishment, and the food was excellent. My family and I had a great time. We will definitely be back.
It's good but I think it could be better. I'm not a huge fan of the seasoning they have on the chicken but the bread and sauces were really good. It gets a bit heavy and greasy however with all the oil. Also just not a huge fan of hot chicken sandwiches because it's not something one craves very often. Would I come back here? Probably not.
This is a food truck that serves hot Nashville spicy chicken. Compared to some other food trucks serving similar food, I felt this place came up short. We got the drumsticks and the chicken sandwich. The chicken was moist but a bit too small for the price. The seasoning powder was pretty intense and really packed on the chicken but overall the flavors were there and tasted good. The chicken paired well with the brioche bun with pickles, slaw and Dave's sauce.
Friendly staff, clean facility, and delicious chicken and fries! What more could you ask for? I like that they have a simple menu. We came for a good chicken sandwich and that's exactly what we got.
Great service and food! I got a 'Hot' level chicken and it was HOT! I consider my taste to be pretty accommodating to spicy food but I might go down to 'Medium' next time. Awesome food still!
