TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Went weekday mid afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Service was fast. The chicken is really tasty and seasoned well. Customizable spice level is key, I'm good with medium or less. Fair amount of seating inside. Newish location, come and get it!

Staff was super friendly. Food was very good, better than Caines, but that's personal preference. Downside there is no drive through. While it does take a while to get your food because evidently they make each order upon request, the food was freshly made and spice was perfect. We got a 1 (next step up from none) and almost couldn't taste spice. The chicken pieces are huge. They have a cheese dipping sauce for .49 each that is very good and the Dave's sauce is good as well. This is the best chicken spot ever! Mac and cheese is creamy! The sandwiches always tastes fresh! Everything pairs well with their French fries! A huge plus is you can pick any spice you want! Live the reaper flavor! My go to spot with my family! There's options for everyone!
