TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

When I first ordered I thought the prices were a little high, but after enjoying our dinner it was worth every penny. We tried the hot extra hot and reaper and trust me when I yell you the hot is indeed hot and the reaper is... Incredibly hot. I'm not a complete wuss when it comes to spice I order my Thai food 4 out of 5 spice but the reaper makes that feel like mild. Great fries and delicious chicken!
Dave's is good and I like the food, the restaurant has a good theme and Is also open decently late when your hungry at night, the service is also pretty good and I have no complaints, my only issue is the price, a meal here tends to be upwards of 15 dollars witch is pretty high compared to other options in the vintage oaks, but if you have the money it's a great eat
The mild is actually pretty spicy, so be careful ordering for kids. This is pretty mediocre food. If you're not a spice fan, you may feel like I do, and remove this from your list. The staff is very nice and they are fast. It's just not for me.
The bread doesn't combine with the delicious spicy chicken. I like the idea of having the chicken from non spice to very spicy fiesta amigos.
It's pretty good chicken, I can see what they are doing with their seasoning. I'm not a huge fan of the type of seasoning but overall it's good. I guess it's a unique piece of chicken for people that like this kind. I gave this spot a try since my place Tenders and Tenders in San Rafael was closed for some reason . Will I come back? Yes, sure, why not. How does a place like this not have ranch! .
Is the food good yes. But is it worth it-- not really for the price. It is not even organic chicken. Tried it once that was enough for me.
I like the decor, lots of seating inside and outside as well. I like the fact that you can pick how spicy you want your chicken. I wish they were a little faster in getting the food ready.
First time I got introduced by my son to try this restaurant while visiting Novato. Why ? I always thought since the restaurant's name had HOT Chicken that all menu will be spicy! My son ordered online for pick up!
