TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Big fan of Dave's. Eat here pretty regularly but they dropped the ball with the fries quantity. Ordered the box of fries for $10 and barely got 2 servings of fries. The box wasn't even filled up. For $10- I expected enough to "feed a crowd." Fries were also very cold so I had to put them in the oven. Chicken is always a hit. Great seasoning and portion.

I ordered a number 2. And it did take a while to have my order made which I did not mind because I didn't have anywhere to be and all my food came out fresh. I took every ones advice and got honey and dave's sauce. I picked the medium and hot sliders. I really enjoyed the medium but there was honestly no spice to it at all. The hot one for me was ridiculously hot it opened my chest I could breathe better and I am sure my blood flow to my heart improved. The fries were great taste much better than they looked. Love this place! We have been to just The lake mary Blvd location and have only done take out (FYI) and we're happy each time. The mild and medium for me, but the hubby likes the hot. Either way we have a tasty fried chicken finger meal each time. We love the Sammy and sides the best. I've also heard the not chicken ( cauliflower) is supposed to be really awesome!! This is an easy pick for something fast and surprisingly delicious!
