Stopped by to pick up lunch for the office. After reading all the reviews, I decided to get everyone a Dave's #4 (slider w fries) medium spice with a packet of honey on the side. I ordered a vanilla milk shake with Oreo and a chocolate milkshake with MnMs. I like how they have a tender box and a fries box. I almost went with that. But instead I wanted everyone to have a chance to try the slider because it comes with slaw. Dave's hot chicken is one of the best fast food places in Lake Mary! The decor inside and out is fun! They have a simple menu which makes things easy, and the food is always super quick to come out, even when they're busy during lunch. I love all the different spice levels that they offer as well.

Chicken was good but hot AF ... ha. I think I got hot. Maybe even mild. I tell u what u better have a quart of milk ready . No but seriously the chicken was tasty and the fries were cool as well. It's fairly new in the lake market area. Try it. My lady brought it to me so I can't comment on the service or anything.

Came out to Dave's Hot Chicken to try it, having recently moved to the area. It was OK. We may come here again if wanting something a little different from Chick-fil-A. Our comparison would be to Chicken Fire in downtown Orlando. We definitely prefer Chicken Fire, for both the spicy and the no spice versions fried chicken. However, Dave's fries were also very good.
