TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First Time Visit Ordered a combo with kale slaw. Ordered lit mild due to not sure how hot the chicken would be. The chicken was ok nothing outstanding and the kale slaw was tossed out. Not sure how the kale slaw should have tasted here, but it was not good to me. No bread?? The two best things to me were the Dave's sauce which was tasty and the drive thru person was so helpful - excellent!!
Quick service (via drive-thru), great portion sizes, impressed by the taste of the chicken and fries (appreciated the fact that the fries stayed crispy during/after travel back home). I absolutely love Dave's sauce! I will definitely be back!

Placed a drive thru order for a tender and these tenders are large! Make sure to use the honey aaand the Dave's sauce together Ordered the medium tender and I think it was more on the mild side but all in all fresh and good flavor. I'd rather that anyway , we will be back

Finally got the chance to try out Dave's hot chicken. And it did not disappoint, at least for me it did not!! Have been wanting to check them out since it opened up in lake Mary. They have 4 different options to choose from and the sliders are big enough that you could share a basket. I got the Dave's #4 which was 1 slider and fries and Dave's sauce. Very very high on the price side, and I honestly think that the food was overrated. The service was good though even with it being newly opened.
