TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Dave's #4 1 Slider with Fries Medium Heat We were really impressed with the taste of this chicken. It was very good. The sandwich was ordered with medium heat which wasn't too hot. I ordered the way it comes with kale slaw, pickles, David's sauce, and the fries. A little on the expensive side but heck everything is expensive these days. We will be back for sure!

My dad and I gave Dave's a shot for lunch today and we were not disappointed. I got a slider (Hot) and he got the tenders (Regular). We were both impressed with the freshness of the food and the crunch of the chicken, as well as the overall flavor. I would come here again, no doubt, and so would my dad. For a newly established location, I think the staff seemed well trained and we got our food in 5 minutes, and this is during peak lunch. Some of the 1-star reviews seemed harsh and impatient but our experience was great!

The inside is pretty loud, almost like a cafeteria. They just opened not too long ago so expect to wait patiently for your meal. The line inside got pretty long during Lunch. Service was good and Plenty of workers present. Place was clean from what I saw so no complaints there. Ordered a few different spice levels to test out ranging from medium to reaper. Surprisingly the reaper wasn't as spicy as the extra hot in my opinion. But everyone's spice level is different so please start off low if you cannot tolerate spice. Cute exterior! Wait time for the drive-through was pretty long and the portion size is pretty massive. If I go back I think I would be happy ordering a slider and fries on the sides menu- The meals also don't come with a drink just so you know . The Hot option for the tenders does not mess around which is pretty great if you are into that and the chicken is juicy!
