I witnessed one of the strangest customer service interactions at Dave's Hot Chicken last night. The restaurant was packed, and it was pretty obvious the employees were overwhelmed. At one point, a customer had been waiting roughly 40 minutes for an order of fries. What made it worse was that people who had ordered full meals AFTER this customer had already received their food and left. I grew up in Los Angeles and genuinely loved Dave's Hot Chicken and what the brand represented. I've been a fan for a long time, which is why my experience at the Capitol Hill location in Seattle was so disappointing. I came in simply trying to figure out whether my order had gone through. Hire workers who actually want to work? The women there are lazy. I've been there many times and if you hate your job quit. The service late night is so short and rude. Can't handle any business.

This used to be a great location, but it has quickly gone downhill since it first opened. Parking has always been atrocious and the wait time for the food is still ridiculously long. The first time I tried this location, I literally got a parking ticket because the order took much longer than expected. My recent experience here was the final time. We paid $30 for a flight of bites and some cheese fries.... Where do I even start? 1. Our table was filthy in sauce from whoever sat before.... Had to wash my jacket afterwards 2 - Chicken nuggets were minuscule and A DOLLAR FIFTY EACH? 3. Usually this is the place i go to and have had no problems until now, the lady who was at the register seemed very rude and inpatient if you weren't paying with cash. In addition my order ended up being wrong which wasn't very pleasant as i ended up wasting my money.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I ordered Dave's Hot Chicken through DoorDash and my order very clearly included fries. Instead, I received two containers of mac and cheese that were honestly not even edible to us and did not receive the fries I paid for. I have attached photos showing exactly what was delivered. What makes this even more frustrating is that there is apparently no way to contact the restaurant directly. I really like the food but for 4 bottles of water they charged me $15 bucks which is insane I used to go to this location so often but I think for some stuff they over charge and I will stop going back
