the food here was so good that the restaurant had a lot more than usual but the restaurant is not that bad so we have a good meal there so we have to eat at home

Dave's Hot Chicken never disappoints. The chicken is always juicy, perfectly seasoned, and has that signature crunchy coating that hits every time. The spice levels are legit, so you can go mild or really push your limits. The fries and sauce pair perfectly, and the staff is usually fast and friendly. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I'm craving something flavorful and filling.

Dave's Hot Chicken is a good option for Nashville style hot chicken in the Seattle area. The gold standard is still Howlin' Ray's (in LA) for me. The chicken at this location good, but the dry seasoning was a bit overdone where the chicken was a little bitter and left me with a powdery taste. The Dave's chicken bites were also not seasoned consistently. Some had good seasoning while other pieces did not. This place is busy being in Cap Hill and close to Seattle U. This review is for ordering Dave's delivery only. I'm finding Dave's to be great back-up to my typical chicken spots, on those weekend nights where I want to veg out hard with some heavy delivery. It's also on the more affordable end of delivery, whatever that means these days. I've ordered the tenders, sliders, and fries. The tenders come heavily dusted in spices and seasoning and that is regardless of the heat level.
