If you're looking for good tenders, this is the place to try. Apparently Dave's is famous for their fried chicken and that it's based off from California. Because of this and it being near Seattle U, and it PACKED. We waited about 50 mins to order our food and about 30-40 mins to receive our food. I got #3 which comes with a slider and a tender. Food was ok but the long wait of an hr and 45 min did not make it favorable anymore. I lost all my appetite waiting and the ambiance was really crowded and hot.

Finally, a hot chicken place worth the money in Washington! This place was packed on a Sunday afternoon. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff and great portions. We had a long wait but they are still new and the line was out the door. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend giving Dave's Hot Chicken a try next time you're in the area.

Now that the opening week hype is starting to die down, this place deserves a visit. The chicken comes in two forms. Either as a slider, which will feature a bun with a bit of kale coleslaw, or it will be a tender, served with a slice of white bread. Pickles included either way. It's Nashville-Hot style chicken. Which means the heat will be in the form of a dry rub, which can come in a rainbow of different heat levels. And it's pretty darn good! Dave's was one of my all time favorites in SoCal and so I was very excited for them to open in Seattle. Overall it's a similar (great) quality at a reasonable price although there are differences. Most importantly the chicken is still delicious, juicy, and tender...but a little less so? The pieces of chicken we got were thinner and so it didn't taste as amazing as we know Dave's can be. Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere! The flavors are to die for. This is not just your normal hot chicken that's super spicy with no other flavor. The rub they use is actually a flavor bomb and will explode in your mouth! We got the HOT chicken but it was too spicy for us (coming from a Chinese and Korean background). got to try dave's for the first time! even on a weekday afternoon (4:45pm), the line was out the door and around the corner, and it probably took us half an hour to 45 min to get our order in, and another 20-30 min to get our food. come with patience or pre game before because you'll probably have to wait to order, wait for your food, and then wait some more for a table. aside from that, the food was good. the tenders are actually pretty big, and i could split my combo between two meals (btw, chicken heats up quite nicely ... read more

Went on opening day and the line was out the door around the building but the service was so quick!! I love their food and am soooo glad they opened up in Seattle and are open late:)) Got the Dave's #2 with hot spice level and it was super filling and flavorful. Definitely check it out if you are in the area. The staff and owner were all SO sweet and patient even with a packed restaurant!

Fairly inexpensive & quite tasty. Ended up going with the "hot" spice level, had a good kick to it with a nice little sweetness as well. They did mess up my order, but were super quick & polite about fixing it. Would go back.
