TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

We used to travel all the way to Portland for this chicken from the Seattle area. We were SO excited when we heard of the Capitol Hill location! We went 2 weeks after it opened and they had crowds well managed, orders weren't taking forever like you would expect and the food was so delicious and fresh. Location sucks for parking when you're coming from out of the city but we will take it to have a location up in WA!
wow. dave's hot chicken finally came to seattle. first tried and new york and still the same quality brought back so many memories!! the food is absolutely so delicious as always, since newly opened, there was a line out the door but they got through it quick. same with seating no problem finding seating even with the line out the door. dave's hot chicken was very well kept inside, clean slightly louder but expected. the workers were very kind and quick to get out the food. yet the quality was still superb. so yummy.

Good stuff! I really enjoyed the experience here! The service was very nice and friendly. We ordered efficiently at the counter and I got my receipt and a buzzer. We waited not too long and got our meals in a reasonable time, and sat at a table by the front window. It was busy and full in there but I'm glad we got a seat. This halal chicken sandwich shop is the best in the city. The service was excellent with the perfect touch of modern art. A perfect place for a late night meal !!
Dave's Hot Chicken review 12/5/23: First I would like to start off by saying I paid 26.03 for the #3 and I also got a Large strawberry milkshake. The lady at the cashier was super nice considering there were so many people in the shop at once she also gave me a device which would buzz when my food was ready. Amazing chicken. Great staff. Clean place. It was delicious but next time I will take medium spicy. Also I can tell that they are using a great quality chicken meat. I will be back.
Food tastes great, I like the different spice levels. Line can take a while since it just open and everyone wants to try! Service is good, but wish they have both registers open for orders instead of one, since the line went around the block. But overall would recommend and will come back for the food!
