Sorry Dave's... I waited outside for an hour and thirty minutes just to order this sandwich. I ordered enough food for my girlfriend and I which ended up being over $50 (ouch). Inside was packed, no available seating at all. This sandwich is good but it's not great though, especially considering the price and wait time. The overall vibe of the place is cool, however, the space is very small so when it's busy it's nearly impossible to move around. So, is the chicken worth it? meh. What's there not to love!!! If you love chicken, if you love flavor, if you love spice, this is your place! Literally the best fried chicken I've ever had! I ordered both extra hot and the reaper! We had to sign a waiver for the reaper which scared me a bit but got me even more curious to try that, even if I just got a bite in! But to be honest, it was totally edible! It's right by my work so I decided to try for the first time and caught a right window where there wasn't a line (~1:40 pm on Tuesday). Quick and easy service, lively atmosphere, and business is flowing. As for food, I got Dave's #1 Hot and it's hot. A little hotter than I wanted so I'm struggling eating it lol but I love the seasoning and fries. I'm glad it game with pickles to balance the oiliness and heat. I would still come back but not be so ambitious with the heat level lool.

The spiciness of the Reaper is no laughing matter! It's been two hours since I ate it, and my mouth, lips, and stomach are still burning. If you're looking for a spicy and flavorful experience, I recommend going for the extra hot option at most."

Went in on a Friday night, line was not too long and staff was friendly. Ample space inside for seating and the food came out quickly despite long lines. Everything was hot and portion size was good. Overall, good experience and would come again.

Was finally able to try the location in Seattle!! The meat was either juicy or dry depending on which spice level you get. It smelled great but when I took a bite, I didn't really taste much. Maybe something was wrong with my taste buds that day. I really liked the mac and cheese, no one else in my group enjoyed it though. Their sauce didn't really have a special taste to it. Really glad to have a Daves Hot Chicken in Seattle, after first trying it in Portland. The slider combo never disappoints, and even though they have been really busy the online ordering process is pretty fast.
