1.) The food doesn't taste the same like the Dave Hot Chicken's in LA. 2.) My bf and I came here at 9:30pm, and it looked like they were closing up bc they were putting chairs on the tables and blocked off the dining area that's past the soda machine so no one could eat there. Nothing against dave hot chickens in concord.... But I went there to get dinner after work tonight at around 7:30. Annndddddd as I was parking I saw , in the bushes, at least 15 GIANT RATS in bushes right outside of Dave's hot chicken in parking lot..... I couldn't go in after seeing that lol they gotta call pest control. I love Dave's hot chicken but appearance is everything and before I made it out of my truck I was throwwwwed off

Not too sure i understand the hype around this place. It's very expensive and the seasoning is terrible. I love spicy food and have a very high tolerance for it, but the "hot" level was just disgusting. It was more seasoning than chicken and just absolutely drowned in it. The piece of white bread on the side is a strange addition. Like they just bought a loaf of Wonder Bread and threw a piece of it on the tray lol. Honestly this staff was so incompetent I had to leave a review. They didn't give me any sauce for my $50 order. They didn't believe me when I said I didn't have any. Then processed to only give me 2 because they "couldn't give me anymore" even though I was willing to pay. Pretty ridiculous. Had to share

Someone else who was waiting for an order took my order as I walking up. They called my name and I had my receipt for proof, but this other guy just pulled up and stole my order without proof. They should've checked the receipt like for other orders in line. They had to remake my order and now I'm waiting longer. Edit: Got the food it's great, but the experience sucked.

Unfortunately I will not be going back to this location. I ordered a medium spicy slider. It wasn't spicy at all. It was also tasteless. It has gradually gone downhill since it opened.

As far as I am concerned when the words hot chicken show up in the name of the restaurant and the only edible part of the meal was the french fries? They're already in trouble. Chicken's not very tasty. It is coated in spices as spicy as you want but it's not crispy as all which is what we were expecting and way too much paprika. Even on the light mild side. Not very good. The rub has too much of a sweet taste to it that we did not like and the spicy was not spicy at all. I don't recommend.

The service was awesome!! The chicken was horrible without flavor. I chose to not eat the hot sauce on the chicken. So wrong to do that. The chicken was small tasteless and stringy. Was so hard to eat. The sauce selections are limited ( no ranch). The reason I went was due to the pics I had seen on social media. Well they say never believe what you see online. I think that's true now. I hope the business can improve on flavor and the size of chicken. The bathrooms also in need of improvement on cleanliness.
