TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My husband and I came this past Sunday for some lunch, we both got the 2 chicken sliders, his was mild and mine was hot. I was told to mix the Dave's sauce with honey cause the hot is pretty hot but for me it wasn't as hot as I like but I love spicy food. Either way the food was hot and delicious, service was really great and the team members were all friendly and willing to help with any questions. Debbie was an absolutely awesome cashier, great service and very friendly. My boyfriend and I had Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! Food was made quickly and super fresh after ordering. We devoured our food and jokingly said we could order a tender each of the “reaper” and damn it really is no joke… feels like a bee stung my tongue! Lol 10/10 will be back.
I ordered a chicken slider with fries in medium spice. The chicken tender was crispy and delicious. They could have added a bit more slaw in the slider but overall it was great. In addition the fries are flavorful. The wait time was not very long. The lady that served me was Debbie. She is very polite. Overall my experience was great. I would recommend you to try out Dave’s hot chicken.
all around great experience, no wait time when i arrived around 12:00. Read another review that said the chicken tasted like chili power and I completely agree! everything was great, cheese fries were wonderful but the chicken spice just tasted artificial. everything was good but that chicken could have been a bit tastier.
I LOVE!! Dave’s hot chicken! It’s the perfect spot for an afternoon snack or a quick casual dinner. The food is absolutely phenomenal with a flavor bomb of secret seasonings. My wife has also tried their Dave’s Not Chicken (cauliflower bites) and they are also very good! Most definitely will be coming back and attempting to step up the spice level each time! 🥵😂
