I've seen this place online featured in Tampa Bay foodies TikTok and Instagram pages - I had to try it out, and it did not disappoint! I got the two tender mild chicken meal with french fries and a Diet Coke. The chicken was so tender and so tasty and their special sauce is amazing. Their fries were hot and crispy as well. It's definitely worth the drive to Tampa to try this place out! Service was really great and quick and there's a bunch of seating inside for a quick bite and they have a drive-through option.

Stopped here after my oldest daughter flag football tournament because this place was all over her Instagram. Not a fan of fried food but I tried and it was delicious The breading for the chicken has addictive spices lol. Now I understand the trend on Instagram. The sauces were so good. The staff were super kind and very friendly to my younger kids. Cute decor inside that was inline with"Hot Chicken" theme. Good thing we don't have one of these close to our house lol!

This was my first trip to the Dale Mabry Dave's Hot Chicken location for me. I ordered a #1 with 2 tenders extra hot with fries and a regular fountain drink. I can't say enough about Dave's quality and consistency. The flavors they create are amazing. The chicken is always cooked fresh and the fries are always crispy and hot. The heat level and flavor of the extra hot heat level is definitely my favorite. The service was excellent and the crew were friendly and helpful. Dave's has become my go to place for hot chicken.

I was in the area and starving so I decided to give these guys a try today. I can't say that I've tried "hot chicken" before so I was curious. I ordered the #3 meal which was 1 tender with a slice of bread, a slider and a side (I choose fries). I was sharing this experience with a toddler so I ordered the tender with no slide and the slider mild.
