TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Great chicken and flavors, food was hot! I don't like they don't have ranch lol but that's a me thing. I went during lunch and the place was busy. The dining room could have been cleaned up quite a bit.... Was pretty dirty. The employees seemed nice except a few who were obviously annoyed at the to-go, uber eats people. Will be back.

That chicken was hotter than any spot I have visited so far. I loved it. Staff were very friendly. And the atmosphere was nice. Sat down and enjoyed some food. Nice. And Spicy!

First time at Dave's hot chicken came through the drive thru and Celina was very helpful and had a great personality she went above and beyond to answer all my questions seeing as it was my first time and she made me feel so welcomed I will definitely be back she got out food out super fast everything was delicious
