TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

3.5 stars... I got the #1. Fries could have been hotter. You only get one sauce cup to dip (totally not enough) and you have to pay for a second. The vibe of the place was super cute. I like the decor with the walls looking like they were graffitied. Staff was pleasant enough. The bread it was served with was not tasty. The rub on the tenders was ok, but very heavy on the paprika. The chicken was very, very juicy. The sizes were not consistent. One of the tenders was normal, the other was MASSIVE! Almost like 2 tangled toge... read more

Honestly, I love Dave's Hot Chicken! This location in particular just goes above and beyond for their guests. We stopped by after a Bucs game and were pleased to find it empty inside but busy in the drive-thru. The lady behind the counter was so nice and helpful. Patient with me (since I always take forever to decide what I want). Food was delicious! I got the meal with a sandwich and an extra tender. Plenty of extra Dave's sauce too. Overall, I'd happily come back to this location!

It was very average.. the food we got wasn't worth the price we paid.. I would rather had Popeyes
