I chose to buy a home that needed updating and decided to use an FHA 203k Streamline after consulting with David's construction loan specialist. This turned out to be a blessing and a curse as the money up front was helpful, but the projects that I did ended up revealing more systemic issues with the house. He then presented me with a few options and was patient and helpful at every step.
