I must say, I'm extremely disappointed in the service I recieved at this location. I've purchased many gowns from the Davids Bridal location in Attleboro for quite some time, however this time the gown I wanted was located only at this location. So I went in on a Friday and purchased the gown I wanted, the manager at the store took care of me, she was both polite and patient which I respected. My daughter and I went to Davids Bridal in Hagerstown, MD to shop for a homecoming dress. When we walked in we were greeted by a nice young lady sitting at a table who took my daughters name and info and told us we could start looking around and someone would be with us to help. We looked around on our own for about an hour during this time no one had approached us at all. One worker was helping a bride to be try on dresses while a few others were behind the desk. Our daughter-in-law looked beautiful in her wedding dress from David's in Scottsdale, and the bridesmaids looked lovely in their greenish dresses so everything for the wedding was wonderful, it's what happened after that left the bad taste. Apparently, there is a special shipping box that the bride is encouraged to buy that enables her to send the gown back for cleaning. The box costs $100. If you buy the box later, it's $190. Carissa was awesome. I was nervous and over whelmed at first. Carissa was my advisor. She saw my examples and the first dress she pulled was the one! I tried on a few but just kept thinking about the first one. Carissa was patient and she listened. They also honored an online coupon on top of their weekend special.
What a terrible, TERRIBLE experience. We had an appointment for my friend to try on gowns. First, the lady who greeted us said "gosh, I don't know who we can even put you with!" Hello, we have an appointment!!! Then it took 20 minutes before anyone helped us. The woman then gave my friend 4 dresses to try on. Just four and when we asked for more she said, that's all of that style near your size and walked away. Not ok. Just awful. Will be taking to corporate about this. And they have lost our business.
One star isn't even correct. 0 stars. They lost the brides appointment , seemed irritated to have to fit us in on their mistake. No one there greeted anyone with a smile. These are brides for crying out loud. The employees should wipe the bitter scowls off their faces and be way more fun. This is supposed to be a memorable experience.
