They NEVER informed me or my bridesmaids that's our items was delivered to their store until 14 days before the wedding to late for alterations. NO email was sent AT ALL!!!! I called them back in April to see if it would be a problem getting our order because of the pandemic they TOLD ME NO what's sad about it they NEVER apologized for the miscommunication. I will NEVER recommend this company to any new bride.
I called the store directly to confirm their hours so I could pick up my bridesmaid dress. The store associate told me they would be open until 9PM. I arrived at 8PM to find the store lights on, but the doors locked. I waited for an hour outside the store until the 9PM closing time and nobody ever came to the door. And of course they are closed tomorrow. I am so mad that I was given incorrect information.
We had the worst experience ever at the David's Bridal in Madison Heights today. We will never go back there for anything nor will we ever recommend them. Just aweful. What was supposed to be a special day was almost ruined by them.

We went to David's bridal on John R. The day they called us to say that our daughters wedding dress was ready for pick up is the same day that my beautiful daughter found out she has breast cancer. The dress was already paid for. We decided to go in and see if they could send the dress back because of the circumstances but they said NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. so we had to take the the dress home. We asked how could we store this dress for a year or two and the charged us an additional $40.00 for a garment bag. How dare they! My swe... read more

I realize it's not every day that a transgender woman comes in to shop for dresses, but bringing the other staff around while I'm in the fitting room to show me off like a side show attraction is a bit tasteless...

If I could give my experience zero stars, I would. Arrived on time for our bridesmaid dress appointment and had to wait 20 minutes before we were paired with our “assistant”. The store was completely crowded, overwhelming, and overbooked. The store itself was chaotic, messy, disaster. Our assistant was incredibly slow and seemed to be helping other groups as well as ours so they were probably understaffed as well as overbooked. horrible experience. we made an appt for 2 bridesmaids and were told we would have to share a room which we both weren't comfortable doing...therefore had to try on all the dresses I had in mind then she was to go after me.. in the middle of me trying dresses on I hear a knock on the door, and a consult walks in on me getting dressed!!! she does not acknowledge herself, apologize but say "this is her room" and the employee shouldn't of put us there. her and other employee begin to argue in front of us. we are then moved to a... read more

Terrible experience. I even made a reservation. They sent me to the wolves , never helped me. I tried multiple DB at different locations. Each time I was sent "over there" and nobody helped me. For my dress or my bridesmaids dresses. So glad I left and went to a smaller shop. Hope they close
