Now, I understand mistakes happen but, the level of ridiculousness has gone too far. Last year when my bridesmaids and I looked for dresses the lady who helped us was very kind, helpful. But, when all 5 of my bridesmaids received the WRONG dress they were made to pay the difference. A year later when my maid of honor wanted to exchange a dress for a slightly bigger size to due to pregnancy the person she spoke to said it was no problem, she goes and a different worker gives her grief but, does the exchange. This will be the 3rd wedding we used David’s bridal for the bridesmaid dresses and this will be the 3rd terrible experience we had. Everyone we work with there seem to have no idea what they are doing. We also had a bridal consultant who was beyond disrespectful to the bride. Implying comments about her weight and what she looked like before she said “I’m going to put my foot in my mouth now” honestly would never recommend them again. One of the worse experiences of my life. Staff are super rude and will not work with you. They practically tell you to diet so they dont have to make alterations. Dresses fell apart by the end of the night . I would never recommend anyone to go here. Way to go David's bridal for being awful.
My experience was a catch 22. The only time you recieved deacent customer service is of there was a problem. My first time there I was a walk-in. The associate looked terrified and went with everything I said. She didn't offer any opinions or options or suggestions for that matter and I picked out a destination dress. Girl was super helpful and knew exactly what to grab that worked with my figure and taste. Excited for my follow up!....My follow up appointment didn't go so well...they messed up the appointments and had to just give me some random girl. She wasn't bad but I just felt like I wasn't getting the appointment and tine i deserved.
My fiance went there and got her dress got fitted for her dresss. Went to pick it and it was not ready and there was a blue stain on it instead of helping her out Amy a worker in the Wilkes-Barre store was very nasty and Bitchie. We finally got her dress out of there and dropped it off to a local tailor shop in Kingston PA name Olympic tailor shop. Walked in, signed in, within an hour dress was picked & ordered & shoes too!
We walked in to just LOOK at dresses and we were told "we needed someone to help us look for dresses? " The girl at the front was soooo rude as we walked in and didn't even bother to help. I was just here to kill time, if killing time meant I should have been rude to, that is not how I'd like to spend my time. They're greedy here too. Don't spend your hard earned money here the people are rude when they "don't have time for you".
