I had never written a review for a Company. But in this case. I don't want other people to go through what I went through. I spent in this Company almost $7,000 for a product that I had already created a prototype. As a matter of fact, I sent my prototype to them to make easier the development of the new prototype. The only thing that I got in lieu of a new prototype was the picture of my prototype in a package. Anybody can do that. I am making a consumer complaint against Davison Design & Development of Pittsburgh, Pa. This complaints stems from services promised that were not designed as required, produced for review and misrepresentation about the length of time it would take to receive a prototype allegedly produced (3 weeks or more). Ihave reviewed other complaints about this company that are running concurrently with mine; and I see similar patterns of misinformation or representation. Update: I received my prototype; and as I suspected the design features that I wanted were never added. I spoke to representatives several times during the process; and they knew what I requested. There are no excuses for this. They will attempt to spin the narrative, but I've experienced others have also. If they cannot do the job, they do not deserve clients. Very upset!!

I put in a request to get more information about the company and they have called me a few times while I was at work. I was finally able to answer one of their calls and I was told she was going to schedule a time for the Executive VP to call me the following morning. Okay, great. Well, I never got the call. An hour and a half goes by and I check my email. The Executive VP tells me that I missed the appointment and he would like to reschedule. Now this is becoming a huge headache. I asked for a simple information packet and have been harassed by e-mail, text and calls ever since. I have unsubscribed from e-mails and still get them. I have asked them to stop calling me and they are still calling and texting. Do not contact them unless you want to deal with this kind of harassment.

From my very first contact through now when I am about to embark on the licensing process, I have been treated with respect and understanding. I ask a lot of questions and all have been answered. Everything they said they would do, they have done. The contracts have clear language. I could not have gotten to this place with my invention if not for Davison. If you have an invention idea, ask for Davison’s help!

I have not signed any contract at this point, but after reading reviews in all fairness everything is very clear in the first contract sent for signature. I also realize and can assume that there are many grey areas throughout the process. That being said, did any of you read the first contract sent, did you question anything in it, run it by an attorney, or did you just jump in hoping to make money on your ideas. This company Davison product development has committed fraud and deception. My idea was never finished and they did not follow through on their promise! I want the world to know that I was tricked and precious money was stolen from me. Thy are crooks and never delivered my product as they promised!

I originally contacted Davison about an invention I thought of. They told me that it was a great invention and they would like to move forward on it. I signed a contract with them stating that they would proceed with a 595.00 payment. I paid the amount and a few weeks later they came back with another contract for me to sign for thousands of dollars that I do not have. Originally, I was told I only needed to pay 595.00.
