Did NOT lower cc debt and after months of paying them the loan offer was 30% interest rate WAY higher than my original card interest rates! I am in muuuuch deeper debt because of this company. Not only did they settle for the amount that was already owed but now my credit is completely shot. I started with them at a 720 and now have a 530. With the amount they settled plus their 25% fee off the original debt this company has single handedly swindled me. DO not go with them. Simply pay more than minimums on your cards and sav... read more

Unprofessional waste of time. I received one of the usual mailers from these types of companies - "You are Pre-Approved!" Decided to check the rate - push the button & was immediately bombarded by texts & calls. Was expecting to click & see some basic numbers. Didn't see anything clearly stating the intention to blow up my phone instead of being a simple check to start. Got in touch with Jerry C. from DebtBlue & at first they were friendly. January 11th I looked through loan offers & picked a couple that may help with both c... read more

Giving 0 Stars! Started FEB20 and they told me I would be done in 3 years or less. Explained how the program worked, my credit would take a hit and not to contact my creditors. They would contact my creditors and let them know I was in a debt relief program. Got it, accepted it. Withdrew a monthly amount to build up my escrow. Settled quite of few debts (basically each debt was lowered by $1K-$1.5K. However, out of the blue (<-) I got served w/ papers of being sued for not paying a debtor. This is embarrassing as it is legal... read more

I'd like to file a complaint against DebtBlue due to their lack of business for not sending JP Morgan Chase a Pay Off letter for one of the accounts that I settled in last year in September of 2021. I checked my Chase application and still see an amount of $2,694.70. I called Chase to inform that I was involved with DebtBlue to consolidate my credit card debt and one of my accounts was with Chase. The representative from Chase was not aware of the account ending with the balance of $2,694.70 was settled and did not receive a... read more

I would never use them I had a contract for 36 months they went a year over the 36 months and did not pay all my creditors I had them close the account I was told I was getting a refund of $1000 and now they tell me it's only $700 because of fees that they took out when they didn't even do what they said they were going to do and it cost me more money to go through them than me paying it off not happy at all

Business response:

Hi, ******* We are sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. We have very high expectations at Debt Blue and would love the opportunity to improve. Please get in touch with us at (XXX) XXX-XXXX!

I believe this company is fraudulent. They told me they were A+ with the Better Business Bureau and they're not even accredited don't go with them or you'll never see your money again they got me for one payment they won't get me anymore that's all been changed I hope they read this. Seriously I don't want anybody to have to go through what I've gone through. Once they said they take payments only with MoneyGram that was a red flag right there do not do business with this company. I had originally given this company five sta... read more

Business response:

Hey there, *******! Our Compliance Director has listened to all of your calls with us and audited your e-correspondence. We don't use MoneyGram and none of our DebtBlue teammates ever mentioned MoneyGram to you on the phone or in emails or texts. I am sorry for your confusion on that point. We are indeed a legit company. Below, I have linked a refresher video on how our program works and a testimonial from one of our thousands of graduated clients to put your mind at ease. Additionally, we have been trying to reach out to yo... read more

If I could have given no stars I would have. This company is predatory and does not fully explain the process to the customer upfront. My wife and I started with Prudent financial solutions who uses debt blue to resolve the debts. What was not told to me is that you pay them monthly until your accounts that were lumped into their program are sold off, then they begin settling for Pennie's on the dollar and stealing your money is supposed fees. I luckily caught on 2 months in and canceled my services. Hopefully I am refunded ... read more

Business response:

Thank you, Mr. ******** for providing feed back. We have researched your account and listened to your 27 Point Verification Call. All disclosures were covered and agreed to by you. The process usually takes anywhere from 24 to 36 months to allow your account to accrue enough funds to secure favorable resolutions with your creditors. Two months isn't really enough time to make much progress. Additionally, no performance fees are EVER received by us until we secure a resolution for you. We apologize that we weren't the right s... read more
