I gave 3 stars because at first they were very nice and friendly. I set up the program and it really bothered me that they let my accounts go for 3-6 months before any payment or settlement would start. I questioned them about leaving my payment and companies in the lurch. They assured me that it would only be temporary and that when they had "funds" they could negotiate with the credit cards, etc. They also said they would make sure that no legal action would come against me. The more and more I thought about it, I decided ... read more

I started with this company back in January. I told them my goal was to group all my payments into one payment and was sold on the guise that this was the goal. Throughout the experience I have found that they had not been in contact with some of my accounts. The smaller ones were settled. I ended up withdrawing the larger accounts to go a different path and payed the performance fees to get the accounts closed that were settled. I was told that the escrow account had enough funds for payoff and I was under the impression th... read more

In October 2022, I enrolled 9 accounts in the DebtBlue debt settlement program. 4 accounts were settled for less than the original balance. 3 other accounts that appeared to be settled for less actually exceeded the original balance once DebtBlues fees were included.May 2024, I notified DebtBlue that I received court papers from one of my creditors and was instructed to send the documents to their legal partner, *****************************, they had me sign a power of attorney so they could represent me. Despite repeated c... read more

Call your creditors and settle the debts yourself. I withdrew my last debt from this account and am still in the process of paying off my final debt for significantly more than it was when I entered the program. This was literally the worst decision I have ever made. They are unresponsive- their portal is confusing and they dont respond to any messages there. Their payment process to your creditors is very unclear. They also missed payments on my final settlement causing it to default, the settlement to be voided and an atto... read more

Those in debt and looking for a solution aside from Bankruptcy, beware. The claims of reducing your large debt to half are borderline false. The catch is the bigger amounts owed and to bigger named companies (Discover, ****************, etc.) will not negotiate past a certain point. DebtBlue allowed my Discover account go into litigation before negotiating so attorney fees could be charged on my account. The attorney for Discover (that I was told not to contact) told me honestly I could have gotten a better reduction if I ha... read more
