My ***** account was overpaid. The settled amount is $3900 and my payments amounted to $4550. My ********* account has still not been updated. I had made $708 in payments plus $825.68. I am worried that I might be overcharged again.

Thank you for the opportunity to submit a few words. I have been with Debt Blue a couple of months now. And what I find so far is that I would like them to be a little bit more aggressive with notifying my creditors that they are representing me. Im not happy about the interest building rapidly and I need to stop that bleeding. I would like to see a little bit more response from them to my creditors to start something going. I will keep you abreast as to what I find in real time.
Business response:
We really appreciate the feedback, *****. We will be reaching out to discuss the intricacies of your account.
I have completed my plan, and despite two months of contacting DebtBlue, I am still subject to auto-withdrawals from my checking account. I now consider it an act of theft on their part. Currently, over $700 of my money is sitting in an escrow account for debts that are now fully resolved. The customer service representatives are always pleasant and assure me that the issue will be resolved and that any excess funds will be restored to me, BUT nothing happens. If I do not get an immediate resolution, I am filing a complaint ... read more
I spent 2 or more hours on the phone with a *** from DebtBlue and they had even sent me a link to the BBB reviews. (All the positive ones) I signed up with DebtBlue and the next day, I found the negative reviews and decided to not go through with the debt consolidation process. When I sent an email to the ***s, they stopped responding to me. I tried calling the number listed online for customer service and as soon as I said to the *** I wanted to cancel my agreement I was put on hold for *************************************... read more

Hello, ********. Thank you for providing feedback. We will have a Senior Client Success Specialist reach out to confirm your cancellation.
I worked at DebtBlue for a period of time, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing professional experiences Ive had. The company operates under a rigid, top-down structure that treats its employees with a lack of respect and empathy. The environment felt like an outdated, patriarchal model of corporate America inhumane, impersonal, and deeply discouraging.Operationally, the systems in place are inefficient and outdated, which negatively impacts both employees and clients. Theres no streamlined or effective pr... read more

Debt blue settled an account for ******* and the credit card company said that the $6391 so because debt blue did not get the correct amount I am now being sued for $6,391. Even though I paid the ******* that debt blue said the had a settlement agreement for. I have called debt blue 3 times a day for 3 months with on end commitment for callbacks and the agreement settlement letter between *********** and debt blue I still have nothing.
Business response:
We understand your frustration with the settlement issue. Please call us at ************** to speak with a representative who can assist with your settlement agreement and documentation.
Please do not use this company. While they sell you on being able to help you negotiate your debts down, after more than 18 months and multiple legal proceedings, we still had many accounts that were not settled, and they kept asking for more and more money each month. We paid out more in fees to them than we did to our credit card companies. At the end, when we cancelled, they kept the remaining amount as a settlement fee, $200 to the credit card company, and almost $2k to Debt Blue. They have you submit a positive review o... read more

I have been working with this company going on 3 years. It seems that it is working, but I've been trying to get in touch with them to go over things and find out where I am with the program. It has been 3 months and nobody is responding to my messages, and my phone calls keep getting cut off. I am about to block the payment to them due to lack of communication and wondering if this is a scam or not. I am very displeased with the service.
Business response:
Hello, Mr. ******** I apologize that you have experienced some communication hiccups. We will be reaching out **** to resolve this and any other remaining concerns. Thank you for providing feedback as we are always seeking to improve.
Here my review I want to do the right thing by working on my debt. I payed in $4170.01 in my 11 months with them and the fees added up too $1,649.66. I understand they deserve a fee but 40%. How will I get out of debt if I pay $1.40 for every $1.00 I owe. In addition, I had $186.15 in my account the day I closed it and I'm sure you know what happen, they took it too. Find a different way to get out of debt, they are not here to help you. I feel like I wasted my money.
