I was continuously badgered about getting a mouth guard despite repeatedly informing Dr Trotter the chips on my tooth came from an accident over a decade earlier. Conveniently they are in the business of producing their own mouth guards that they would have been so happy to sell me. I received so many unexpected bills from them for things that should have been covered by insurance 100%. I was under the impression this was a decent dental office until the following incidents occurred. I should have thought twice when I was handed brochures for very expensive cosmetic procedures (not covered by insurance) before ever being seen by a dentist. I find this extremely unprofessional. This also gives you an idea of what their true nature is. In the last week, I have received 3 invisalign advertisements in the mail from them. I do not recommend this place. Every time I went in they *needed* to take x-rays - every cleaning, every check up, every.single.time. Never had so many x-rays taken of my teeth. They are pretty "drill happy" here as well. The first time I went in they suggested no less than 10 drilling expeditions on existing work as well as mystery other spots. I couldn't agree more with the two reviews citing the letters reagrding the "Unpleasantness" of legal action. Absolutely ridiculous. On my last aappointemnt with the office I asked the billing deaprtment if I owed anything. They checked on their computer and indicated that I did not as the insurance had covered it all. I was shocked, then, to receive a bill in the mail for services rendered and presumed that it must have been a mistake. I couldn't agree more with Jenni H.'s review. I went for a regular check-up and was shocked to get a bill for several hundred dollars in the mail. Turns out I was charged for a number of things my insurance company didn't cover, including digital photos of the inside of my mouth. I'll admit, the photos were high tech and I was impressed when they were taken, but I certainly wouldn't have agreed to spend nearly $100 for them if I'd been offered the choice. Dr. Kevin Trotter's secretary (Nina) an indian looking secretary was very rude and nasty to me when I came in just to get my teeth checked. She told me $1,090 I would have to pay and even before I can make an appointment I would have to pay it. I asked for a payment plan and she told me that she could not do that and nothing for me.
