Great experience--the latest equipment, super nice staff, friendly, professional...plus a goody bag and a great view! Not cheap but o immediately got the feeling that I could trust these folks, and that their records and resources were excellent. Planning to have a bunch of catch-up work done here and referred my husband to go, too. Thank you!
Reading the reviews here, you can see this is a love/hate establishment. I only came here once, but thought I could offer some useful insights. First, the practice has some wonderful dentists and a strong support staff. They have their crap together, with great equipment, a nice goodie bag, and you even fill in your medical info on the iPad. First let me say I am a nervous dental patient. From the first phone call to the lovely gal who answered the phone (Evelyn) to the final work done they were wonderful. I had emergency work done on a broken tooth. I did not know Dr. Ewa Tracz, but I liked her photo on the site, intuitively I thought she looked honest, so I made the appointment and crossed my fingers. They took me that day. Dentistry at the Heights has been my dentist since I moved to NYC 15 years ago. Dr Trotter has done helped me with everything from cosmetic dentistry for my front teeth to implants and crowns. His staff is super accommodating and very friendly. I trust them and highly recommend them.
Best of the best! They have a focus on caring for my need as a patient and they use super cool technology! I was able to see my jaw in 3d! Then they printed my crown using some computerized 3d printer! Dr. Trotter was very knowledgeable and honest about What I needed and the staff really works with you to make sure you're utilizing my insurance to keep my out of pocket expenses to a minimum. I'm really surprised about the negative reviews. Christiana - my hygienist - is wonderful, the service is great, they are extremely nice and low-pressure about additional work/toothbrushes/toothpaste/etc. Also, there is no copay with my insurance, which has not been my experience in the city. All in all, I really like this place!
This is the only place I will go. The office is clean, the staff is professional, and every dentist I've seen here has been amazing. They are extremely gentle and everything is explained clearly. I cannot say enough great things about this place.
I just switched to this office last week and so far I'm extremely happy. Everyone there was friendly, efficient, gentle, and communicative. I went for a cleaning and to replace a nightguard my dog destroyed. Dr. Trotter called me the evening before the appointment to welcome me to the practice, see if I had recent X-Rays from my previous dentist to avoid them having to take unnecessary ones (I did not), make sure they properly recorded what I was coming in for, and to see if I had any questions. I've been a patient at Dentistry at the Heights for 18 years and the level of care I've received still to this very day, is like none other. I used to be scared more for the fact of the previous treatment I sustained but my experience here is wonderful. Dr. Kevin Trotter is amazing, he's such a perfectionist and my mouth/teeth are proof of that, he takes his time and makes sure no stone is left unturned when determining the best treatment necessary and I thank him for that.
