Beware of the Derby Casino and hotel. Bar tender did not know how to make a top shelf long island, then proceeded to question my willingness to payfor it. She failed 2 times. Got to my room and there was no hot water. Maintenance had to come dix it, yhen housekeeping hadcto clean it. It ruined the romantic experience i came for initially. The room should have been comped. I will not return unless this is rectified.
Never will go back to that area again

This property, I think, has 4 stars on Travelocity and to me that seems aspirational. I think it's closer to a 2.5 or maybe 3 star hotel. My bathroom was unfortunately not very clean, particularly the floor and toilet. I do appreciate that the entire mattress was sealed in a mattress protector (more hotels should do this). It's a small thing but inside every single light switch was dark crud. I know that's hard to clean there but good lord it's nasty to be so bad you can see it. Not allowing children and not refunding my rate

Crystal- We have our policy on Expedia regarding children under 21 as well as send an email 24 hours prior to arrival as well. We have refunded your stay.
No handicapped parking available for hotel. Hot water wasn't hot. Room did not heat up

We do apologize for your areas of opportunity. While we have ample parking for the hotel we do fill quickly during certain hours in our handicapped spaces. Did you alert the front desk of your water and room temperature issues during your stay for us to have facilities correct?
Too loud to sleep Most of the trip was great, barely slept at all. There were loud whirring noises all night combined with people fighting in the halls at 2am and music blasting from other rooms.

Rooms freezing. 45 degrees outside and a/c on 72 in room and told central operated. Did bring more blankets from staff. Not the anniversary experience I was wanting.
