I posted a review a few weeks ago regarding Desitter Flooring and their outstanding customer service. It's been 3 weeks and I still have not heard back from them regarding the bedroom furniture that was dropped by their installer causing the mirror to dislodge. The installer secured the mirror again using staples however Desitters customer service said that they contacted another 'contracted' company to review my furniture. Customer service? I dont think so. Another example of poor communication.
The flooring looks great but my experience with Karen Gaimari was subpar. There was insufficient material delivered to the job and it was not finished when promised. Karen provided terrible customer service and I had to track her down instead of her seeking to remedy the situation. She always made me feel like my project was unimportant. I found her arrogance unjustified and her demeanor rude and condescending.

my 'poor' review was deleted. Why is that?
Poor communication between salesman & buyer, between scheduler & buyer, between installer & buyer, between scheduler & installer. Originally scheduled install for late morning on 6/12. I received call on 6/9 requesting that i reshedule for 6/13 (between 8am and 10am first installation) as a favor to them. Recieved a messsage on 6/12 that installers would now be arriving between 11am and 1pm (different than the agreed upon reschedule time). Installers showed up about 9:30. The carpet is wonderful. The installers were friendly but cracked a tile that we cannot fix and may have trouble replacing. We are looking for our replacement tiles but have not found them as yet.

Had 2 jobs, new hardwoods and carpets. 1st job hardwoods, showed up 4 hours later than said which took the job into another day. Had minor problems which did come back and fix. Then, carpet install took forever to schedule. Carpet was in just installers couldn't do it for over a week or so after carpet was in. For the money we spent, I don't think the service was there in the install department. They use outside contractors for install so that is the problem. Our main contact Debbie repeatedly missed details that led to stop/starts on the project and required me to keep shuffling my schedule. She didn't mention/realize that we'd need a plumber to install a drain between the tear-out day and install day (which were booked consecutively), so the team showed up, did what they could, and then had to leave. Went to showroom to in Glen Ellyn. Picked out tile, for my kitchen, foyer, and two baths had someone come out take measurements. A week later can't get a quote from them. Or even anyone to call me back. One big giant run around. Make sure your job is big enough for them or you won't get the time of day from them.
