I take my two small dogs there and have always experienced the utmost in customer service and compassion from the staff. Dr. Zakos is my primary doctor and she is just wonderful. If I've had my dogs in for a problem she always calls the next day to find out how they're doing. I think the previous reviews from people saying they're expensive need to get a clue... veterinary care is expensive!! If you use the emergency clinic part then it's going to cost you even more. I also think some of the bad reviews have come from "... read more

I noticed my elderly cat having labored breathing and knew she needed to be seen, but both of the clinics in close proximity were full for the day (Saturday, go figure) but was advised that older cats with breathing issues should be seen straight away. I found Diamond Veterinary and drove right there, knowing that it was probably the end for my kitty. I was greeted quickly and brought right into an exam room after explaining what I was in for. Everyone that helped me, from the vet techs to Dr. Zastrow, were so wonderful and... read more

I'm not sure how they usually do business but my experience was excellent. I called ahead explaining my dogs condition and asked them for a price range. They estimated anywhere from $300-$700 depending if my dog needed minor surgery. He had a ruptured anal glad (gross I know). They took us back right away and within 20 minutes they diagnosed his condition and said he would need the surgery. The cost at that point was only $533 for everything but to my surprise my bill was $307. They said when they took him back and shaved h... read more

Expensive, but convenient. The staff seem to know their prices are high, and even warned me before I decided to have dental surgery done on one of my dogs. I appreciated the honesty and opportunity to seek another vet.

We had to take our pug here late on Saturday night when she suddenly had neurological symptoms related to mushroom toxicity. Being late on a week-end put us in the emergency, after hours pay category. We knew the cost would be high and it certainly was after blood tests and an overnight stay to flush her liver. We were taken care of quickly and efficiently and Ruby was well cared for the entire visit. Everyone was great so you may wonder why only 3 stars. Pugs have deep facial folds which harbor bacteria and are prone to inf... read more

Realizing this week that it has been one year since I arrived at midnight at the door of Diamond Veterinary with my english bulldog after finding that he had ingested what was by all accounts a fatal dose of rimadyl. The veterinarians there were amazing. They knew exactly what to do and today my little guy is totally healthy. I really cannot say enough good things about this practice.

I took my dog here recently for a parasite & general checkup. Setting up the appointment over the phone was super easy. I arrived to find a relaxing lobby area and friendly desk staff. My baby whined a little, but generally stayed pretty calm so they get a star from him. He Dr. Hanna talked with me about what was going on and what our course of action would be. My dog got an injection to take care of the parasite, we dealt with my other concerns, got some flea meds (tis the season), and all my questions were answered. I ... read more

I have used Diamond Vet Clinic for many years for all of my dogs. Most recently, my standard poodle needed to be put to sleep, and the team at Diamond was most compasionate. They took the time to comfort not only my big girl but me also. I was allowed to stay in the room with her for as long as necessary after she received her shot and she fell asleep in my arms. it was the nicest passing any of my pets has ever had at a vets office. I would recommend Diamond to any person that loves their animal and wants the best and m... read more
