I had upper eyelid surgery by Dr De Silva in August 2018. The service, curtesy, professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. I felt totally at ease on all appointments and before surgery. I also had a chemical peal on my eyelids at the same time due to sun damage. I had no pain whatsoever from the eyelid surgery but the chemical peal was a bit irritating and itchy but this was relieved using ice and vasoline. My whole experience of Dr De Silva and his team was very pleasant. From the first consultation with Dr De Silva, where he makes you feel very relaxed and takes time to understand what you are wanting and fully explains the potential results, the procedure and also the sedation they use. I cannot praise Julian highly enough. The surgery was pain free and the results have been amazing. I was nervous about the "twilight sedation" but, as someone who suffers from lots of side effects from normal anesthesia, I found it to be wonderful! No pain and within 20 minutes of waking up I was being driven home! Julian and all his staff are friendly, helpful and professional in every way. Having the upper and lower eye blepharoplasty was the best decision ive made & several months later Im still smiling!
