Scanner Does not convert multiple pages to one PDF document and that was my reason for purchasing it. I am travelling all the time and this scanner is essential for my work.
Not so good I'm giving this one away. It has failed to do what I need. I sholdn't condemn it; instead I should blame myself for not doing enough research on a scanner that would deliver what I needed.
Returned it. I had nothing from the time I tried to install this. I ended up returning it. They even charge you to register it and then I had a terrible time getting my registration fee returned even though I returned the product and couldn't use it. Very poor cutomer service from Brother.
Bundled software The bundled software that came with it was outdated and the downloads suggested by Brother did not work at all

A lot of work for nothing Because I liked the reliability of my Brother all-in-one printer I bought their portable scanner BR-620 and paid extra for the receipt program. It took loading the software more than 6 times with rebooting before I could get it to scan anything. When it can time to scan in the receipts it ended up being a lot of extra work for me. Does not work I purchased this from Staples using the review on Amazon as my basis. The scanner left a huge black strip on every scan. I tried to calibrate the scanner with the included calibration strip that you need to run through the machine. It never worked. I tried calling customer support and I was transferred twice and finally gave up after 45min of waiting. I will never purchase a brother product again.
Great scanner, BUT....... This scanner works great, quiet, small and very clear. Just make sure you want it to work with your windows or mac laptop/desktop. I purchased this scanner to work with my android tablet and the accusoft usb scanner app doesnt work due to Brother's new driver update. It also doesnt work with any android device for scanning purposes, therefore I cannot recommend this product. No luck with this one I've purchased 3 portable scanners from different sources, in the last month. This Brother DS-620 being the latest. I've had to return every portable scanner due to software operating/installation issues. This Brother was no exception. The bundled business card management software would not install. It would give me an error message, and then refuse to finish installation. I give up with these portable scanners. I don't know if it's drivers, poor software, or what, and I really don't care.
