To hard More complicated than anticipated
Not fun. Also the settings are weird The software is not as refined as I was expecting. There are a lot of - I wish it would... Also, I'm running Mac OS 10.10 - so I don't know about other systems. First off, you have to manually engage the scanner. I wish that the software would automatically engage upon sheet detection. Does not scan straight Can't get one straight scan without some kind of black border. Maybe it's me but I think this thing is terrible (using it on a MAC) I have not gotten one page to scan straight. It looks like it goes through straight but when I view the PDF/JPEG, it is slightly crooked with a black border on the top and or bottom and left and or right side. I hate it, the fact that it always cut off ... I hate it, the fact that it always cut off half of the page when I scan just an A4 paper is killing me!!!!! I need to re-scan couple times before it will scan it in 1 page. Everytime when I need to scan multi paper, it turn into a 30mins work due to re-scan over and over again. This scanner do not make my life more simple!!!!
This mark is a bad joke I bought the Brother scanner in the Amazon and asked a friend who was in the US to bring me in Brazil. Unfortunately I lost the USB cable and I could no longer use. I tried to contact Brother Brazil by email and the website form and they do not even bother to answer. This Brother company is demonstrating a joke in bad taste. I should have bought a real brand that value and respect the customer.I was interested in buying other equipment that mark, but fortunately I did not do that crap.
No instruction book; takes more than a minute to ... No instruction book; takes more than a minute to do ONE page. This is not as advertised at all.
Too slow I purchased this scanner hoping that I could use it to scan receipts and single sheets of paper easily. However, I had to send it back because it was so slow. It would stop part-way through a scan of a page and wait 10 seconds or more and then restart only to stop again. I seemed to be averaging about 2-3 pages per minute, not 8. The computer was also whirring away as though it was being overworked during the scanning. it would be very useful, i wanted to scan business documents - which are usually scanned in black and white, not even grayscale - to keep sizes small. This thing wont do it. Even a single page scans in grayscale to almost 1 MB. Documents running into dozens of pages are too large in file size to be sent over email. Never worked with windows. It does scan to the sd card, so it is manageable. If only they had allowed pure BW scanning to keep file size small, it would be very useful,
